About

We Work Together

At Joycelyn’s House, we work together as sisters, mentors, leaders, and community builders to create a future where young women don’t just survive, they thrive.

We Are Non Profit Organization

At Joycelyn’s House, we believe every woman deserves a safe place to heal, grow, and build a brighter future. Our mission is to provide secure, affordable, and supportive housing where women can find stability, regain confidence, and take meaningful steps toward independent living.
More than just a place to stay, Joycelyn’s House is a community built on compassion, dignity, and hope. We create an environment where women feel respected, encouraged, and empowered to overcome life’s challenges while pursuing personal and professional growth.
Inspired by the life and legacy of Joycelyn McDermott, our organization is committed to serving women through safe housing, life-skills development, mentorship, and access to valuable community resources. We believe that with the right support system, every woman has the strength to transform her future.
Whether you’re seeking a fresh start, looking to support our mission, or hoping to make a difference in someone’s life, Joycelyn’s House welcomes you with open arms.
Together, we’re providing more than housing—we’re building hope, restoring confidence, and creating opportunities for women to thrive.

Joycelyn House

Joycelyn’s House exists to make sure no woman has to choose between safety and a roof over her head. As a community-run nonprofit, we pair affordable rooms with mentorship, job-readiness support, and a sisterhood that keeps showing up.
